The festival of Holi is celebrated in March in the Hindu calendar during the full moon. It celebrates the coming of spring and the triumph of good over evil. Holi is a time of rejoicing: to be here on earth and to examine one’s own errors, correct them and to seek and grant forgiveness. Coming together to douse each other with bright-colored powders encourages all to “forgive and forget!”
Bright Water’s Holi Celebration is supported by our Festivals Circle.
